Introducing Osprey™ – the ultimate solution for scintillation detector spectroscopy.Osprey™ from CANBERRA is much more than a tube base MCA for scintillation detectors. Besides the standard PHA mode of operation, it includes MCS, SCA, Multispectral Scaling, List, and Time-stamped List modes. With both Ethernet and USB 2.0 interfaces, Osprey is designed for remote or local operation. Plus, three user-configurable I/O ports provide maximum flexibility for data and control signaling. An issue with scintillation detector spectroscopy is peak shifting due to changes in environmental temperature. Osprey, teamed with the CANBERRA NAIS-2×2 stabilized NaI(Tl) probe, solves the problem with patented* built-in LED stabilization technology.

Colibri is a very versatile survey meter. It features excellent ergonomics such as easy handling, visual and audible alarms and an internal vibrator. The large integrated TFT LCD touch screen is well lit for use both indoors and outdoors, even in bright conditions. Colibri TTC integrates a GM detector processed by a Time To Count (TTC) algorithm. This algorithm extends the detection range of the GM up to 1000 rem/h, thus enabling measurements even in critical situations. For measurements, the Colibri displays both the internal GM dose rate in fast reacting semi-log bargraph and an averaged digital reading. Colibri simultaneously displays the dose rate and the integrated dose. When an external probe is connected, it displays the external probe measurement and the dose rate from the internal detector.

GPS-COM helps responders who use the UltraRadiac to stay focused on their primary task: rescuing life, fighting a fire, protecting the population, while sending dose-rate and GIS information to the host system. Indeed, although UltraRadiac features a vibrating and a loud audible alarm, first responders might not react to the radiation hazard because they are distracted by the primary danger (fire, accident, explosion, dust). GPS-COM updates every UltraRadiac being used in the field without the need to send it back to the factory for upgrade. The hot shoe design allows users to grab any GPS-COM and place the UltraRadiac in to be ready on the go. Simply turn on both instruments while deploying the Supervisor with as many Repeaters as needed (up to 4) to expand the lines of communication and start gathering all UltraRadiac data in the field. Each displayed unit is shown on the remote software in less than 15 minutes.
